Join me in Paris for a special tour...

Drumroll, please.... we've got the name of the winner for the trip for two to Paris. Diane G.* of San Diego was selected as the winner in Women & Wine’s trip for two to Paris sweepstakes. She’s won a stay at a Sofitel Hotel in Paris, airfare from American Airlines and classes at Le Cordon Bleu. Great news for Diane, and quelle bummer for everyone else.

But wait. You can still come hang out with me in Paris. AAA Signatours put together a seven-day culinary tour of Paris based on The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry. Among the highlights: a private street market trip guided by a Le Cordon Bleu chef, a class at the school, a tour of Rungis, a day trip to Rouen in Normandy and a wine tasting dinner at an authentic cave in the Marais district. We’ll kick things off with a champagne welcome dinner, and I’ll give you a personal tour of my old neighborhood in the Les Halles district.

Pssst. Here's a bonus for blog readers - If you decide to join the trip, you’ll get an extra half day private tour in Paris, followed by picnic lunch along the Seine, my treat. (Because if you're reading my blog, you're probably someone I'd like to hang out with in good weather in Paris...)

The dates are May 20th-27th; another week may be added. Get all the details on my site.

* Diane asked that we not disclose her last name publicly...
